Already today real-time Ethernet is a successful replacement for all sorts of traditional field bus systems in industrial automation. This trend was gained by a wide acceptance of the Ethernet Powerlink (EPL) standard by many device manufacturers and by the availability of pre-engineered interface turnkey solutions. Based on SND's HyNetOS TM a complete V1.0 or V2.0 EPL protocol stack for Controlled Nodes (CN) and Managing Nodes (MN) are available for many applications.

SND will introduce the implementation of the Ethernet Powerlink standard and the benefits of a performance oriented Stack-Hardware combination based on the new processor platform of Hyperstone .
